Gallery Hyundai is pleased to announce the release of Yoo Geun-Taek by Sumin Jung on November 8. Jung Sumin is a jazz-based musician, composer, and producer, who has translated Yoo Geun-Taek‘s solo exhibition Reflection into a musical language. The album consists of five jazz-based songs, each inspired by Yoo’s representative series, Reflection, Fountain, Window, Speaking Garden, and Spring - Beginning of the World, all of which are showcased in the exhibition Reflection at the gallery.

Yoo Geun-Taek will be available on all music platforms as of November 8. Furthermore, limited edition of 400 vinyl record packages will be released in January 2024. The package features Yoo Geun-Taek‘s artworks on both the jacket and interior of fold-over, and includes art prints of the representative works corresponding to the five song titles as inserts.

갤러리현대는 11월 8일에 유근택 작가의 개인전 《반영》을 음악적 언어로 풀어낸 재즈 기반 뮤지션이자 작곡가, 프로듀서로 활동 중인 베이시스트 정수민의 앨범 [Yoo Geun-Taek]을 발매한다. [Yoo Geun-Taek]을 앨범 타이틀로 하여 《반영》 전에서 소개되는 주요 연작 〈반영〉, 〈분수〉, 〈창문〉, 〈말하는 정원〉, 〈봄 - 세상의 시작〉을 곡 제목으로 구성한 총 5곡의 재즈 기반의 앨범이다.

[Yoo Geun-Taek]의 음원 발매는 11월 8일(수)에 모든 음원 사이트를 통해 공개될 예정이며, 2024년 1월에 유근택 작가의 작품 이미지가 커버와 내지 이미지로 삽입되고, 5곡 제목의 연작 이미지가 아트 프린트로 들어가는 패키지 LP로 400장 한정 제작될 예정이다.
