Lee Kang-So is participating in the exhibition A Dream-Enchantment in Changseong-dong Laboratory (Changseong-dong 144, Jongno-gu, Seoul) until May 29. The exhibition started with the memory of two artists, Lee Kang-so and Kwun Sun-Cheol, who were sharing a studio in Nuha-dong in 1964 and as they were seniors and juniors in the department of Painting at Seoul National University. In the exhibition, Lee Kang-so presents installation piece applying photograph. Since the 1970s, Lee Kang-so has been actively participating in the exhibition of Shincheje and Korean Experimental Aritst Exhibition and has consistently crossed the boundaries of various media through installation, performance, photography, and video as well as painting and sculpture. “Sleeping Walk(夢流)” is a work that applied the Changseong-dong laboratory as a medium. It presents the artist's deep intention to reflect on the dimension of time and space that we are experiencing by contrasting the reality seen by cameras with the world perceived by humans.
