Yoo Geun-Taek and Park Minjoon will participate in UNBOXING PROJECT: Reading, held at New Spring Project from October 23 to November 23. This exhibition explores the act of 'reading' by examining the boundaries between text and visual language, interpretation, and interrelation. Participating artists experiment with the relationship between image and text—as well as their visual and formal characteristics—through the diptych format, in which two canvases are connected by hinges.

Yoo Geun-Taek’s Hometown (2025) originates from a landscape of his father’s hometown, contemplating the origin of life that both begins and ends in the earth. Park Minjoon’s X013 (2025) belongs to his ongoing X series, begun in 2021, and explores human imperfection and growth through the coexistence and collision of opposing concepts. Rooted in the philosophy of yin and yang and dualism, the work represents a process of approaching truth through multiple perspectives.

유근택과 박민준이 뉴스프링프로젝트에서 10월 23일부터 11월 23일까지 열리는 《UNBOXING PROJECT: Reading》에 참여한다. 이번 전시는 ‘읽기’라는 행위를 문자와 시각 언어의 해석과 상호 관계성 등의 경계를 탐구한다. 참여 작가들은 두 개의 캔버스를 경첩으로 연결한 딥틱(diptych) 형식을 통해, 이미지와 문자 사이의 관계와 시각적·조형적 특성을 실험하게 된다.

유근택의 〈고향〉(2025)은 작가 본인의 아버지의 고향의 풍경으로부터 시작되었다. 땅으로부터 시작하여 땅으로 돌아가는 생명의 근원에 대한 물음을 담고 있다. 박민준의 〈X013〉(2025)은 2021년부터 시작한 〈X〉 시리즈에 속한 작품으로, 상반된 개념들의 충돌과 공존을 통해 인간의 불완전함과 성장을 이야기한다. 음양과 이원론에 기반한 철학적 사유가 작품에 녹아 있으며, 다양한 시선이 모여 하나의 진실에 다가가는 과정을 표현한다.
