Ayoung Kim and Candice Lin will participate in a talk program jointly organized by KIAF Seoul, the Korea Arts Management Service, and Frieze Seoul on September 4.

Currently featured in two-person exhibition with Kang Seung Lee at Gallery Hyundai, Candice Lin will take part in Queer Asian Art and the Technology of Re-membering, moderated by curator Yongwoo Lee. Together with Sung Hwan Kim and Sin Wai Kin, Lin will explore how contemporary Asian queer engage with archival practice to challenge dominant histories and social hierarchies.

Ayoung Kim will join Adrián Villar Rojas in the session Artistic Imagination Between Reality and Virtual, moderated by artistic director Sunjung Kim. This conversation explores stories behind their works, their creative journeys, and ideas that shape their practice.

김아영, 캔디스 린이 오는 9월 4일, 키아프 서울과 예술경영지원센터, 프리즈 서울이 공동 주최하는 각각의 토크 프로그램에 참여한다.

현재 갤러리현대에서 이강승과 함께 2인전을 전시 중인 캔디스 린은 김성환, 신 와이 킨(Sin Wai Kin), 이용우 큐레이터와 함께 〈퀴어 아시아 미술과 기억의 기술〉에 참여한다. 이 세션은 동시대 아시아 퀴어 작가들이 아카이브 실천을 통해 지배적인 역사 서사와 사회적 위계에 도전하는 방식을 논의한다.

김아영 작가는 아드리안 빌라르 로하스(Adrián Villar Rojas), 김선정 예술 감독과 함께 〈실재와 가상 세계 사이의 예술적 구축〉이라는 주제로 개인적 경험이 문화적 정체성, 사회적 참여로 확장되는 작가들의 작업 세계에 대해 깊이 있는 대화를 나눈다.
