Seulgi Lee is participating in the 17th Lyon Biennale, Les voix des fleuves, Crossing the Water, where she will present her performance SOUPE (2024) on November 8 and December 13, 2024. Directed by Alexia Fabre, this year's Lyon Biennale, which runs until January 5, 2025, explores themes of individuality, relationships, altruism, and hospitality toward others.
Lee's SOUPE (2024) will take place at Les Grandes Locos, inviting participants to share a soup inspired by the colors of the Lyon sunset. This ceremonial performance, created with the assistance of chef Emily Dader and made from seasonal vegetables from Lyon, fosters a symbolic connection between the human body and the natural environment.
Furthermore, Lee is exhibiting in Les temps changent which features twelve prints from the art library collection of Vitré Communauté. The exhibition is on view at the Drama Galerie in Rennes, France, until December 5, 2024.

이슬기의 〈SOUPE〉(2024)는 레 그랑드 로코(Les Grandes Locos)에서 리옹의 석양을 담은 수프를 나눠 먹는 퍼포먼스 작품으로, 신체와 자연 환경 사이에 상징적인 연관성을 만들어 내는 의식의 경험을 참여자들과 함께 공유한다. 셰프 에밀리 다데르(Emily Dader)의 도움을 받아 리옹 지역의 제철 채소로 수프를 만들어 리옹이라는 지역에서 벌어지는 작품에 의미를 더했다.
더불어 이슬기 작가는 비트레 코뮈노떼(Vitré Communauté)의 아트도서관에서 소장하고 있는 판화 작품 12점을 소개하는 전시인 《Les temps changent》에 참여했다. 전시는 프랑스 렌의 드라마 갤러리에서 12월 5일까지 개최된다.
