Gallery Hyundai is pleased to announce its representation of Jin Han Lee. Jin Han Lee (b. 1982) is an artist based in Seoul and London. Lee describes the painting as "a space where the artist's personal language collides with the universal language", a medium through which she captures a myriad of experiences and thoughts that cannot be expressed fully in language alone. Lee utilizes mediums such as oil and spray paint to build up layers of colorful, rough but delicate brushstrokes, moving between abstraction and figuration, two-dimensionality and three-dimensionality, hence suggesting a a new method of painting.
