The Man Who Paints Water Drops, a photo exhibition of the life of artist Kim Tschang-Yeul. This exhibition is created by Kim Tschang-Yeul’s son Oan Kim and a French artist Brigitte Bouillot who co-directed the documentary film The Man Who Paints Water Drops. It presents a documentary film and approximately 50 pieces of photographs and videos that capture the life of the late Kim Tschang-Yeul. A documentary and this photo exhibition provide an opportunity to look into the artist’s worldview as well as his personal life. The show is open until 15 October.

김창열 화백의 삶을 담은 사진전 《물방울을 그리는 남자》이 성곡미술관에서 열리고 있다. 다큐멘터리 영화 <물방울을 그리는 남자>를 감독한 김창열 화백의둘째 아들 김오안과 브리짓 부이요(Brigitte Bouillot)이 공동으로 창작한 전시다. 작가의 생존 모습을 담은 다큐멘터리 필름과 사진, 영상 작품 50여 점을 만나볼 수 있다. 다큐멘터리 영화와 사진전을 통해 김창열 화백의 작업 세계뿐만 아니라, 인간적이고 내밀한 삶을 들여다 볼 수 있는 기회다. 전시는 10월 15일까지.
