Gallery Hyundai presents a VR exhibition of Sabine Moritz: Raging Moon. One may witness Moritz’s original creative approach, which nimbly moves “again and again” between figurative and abstract. The exhibition features still-life and landscape, which show the traditional iconography such as flowers and skulls, unique etchings that serve as a middle ground, and abstract paintings of dazzling colors, thus giving a glimpse of the artist’s oeuvre rich and dynamic in colors.
갤러리현대는 사빈 모리츠의 아시아 첫 개인전 《Raging Moon》의 VR 전시를 오픈한다. 본 전시는 구상에서 추상으로, 추상에서 구상으로 ‘다시, 또 다시(again and again) 민첩하게 옮겨가는 사빈 모리츠의 독창적 창작 방식 전반을 아우른다. 작가가 활동 초기부터 소재로 삼은 꽃, 배, 해골 등 미술사의 전통적 도상의 정물화, 풍경화부터 구상과 추상의 중간지대 역할을 하는 에칭 작품 그리고 이번 전시의 하이라이트라 할 수 있는 찬란한 색의 추상화까지 작가의 다채로운 작품 세계를 엿볼 수 있다.
