Lee Kang-So : "The world and all beings in it circulate throughout all seasons and cardinal points. This is what we may call the symphony of the universe. And, we are intertwined in this structure. I wondered, as we float in this structure as the dust in the space, Whether and how can we best communicate with one another? In consequence of these thoughts, ‘art’ was my choice of communication: painting and many other artistic methodologies."

이강소 : "세계가 계절에 따라서 우주만물이 동서남북으로 춘하추동으로 순환합니다. 우주의 심포니라고 하지 않습니까? 그런 속에 우리가 서로 구조되어 있다는 것이죠. 그러한 구조 속에서 우리가 이 세계 속에서 먼지처럼 떠돌아 다니면서, 서로 소통을 어떻게 하는 것이 가능하고, 좋을 것인가. 그래서 제가 택한 방법은 예술이었고, 또 회화였고, 이런 여러가지 방법론이었습니다."
