Gallery Hyundai is pleased to return to KIAF SEOUL for its 2024 edition. At Booth B03, Gallery Hyundai will present abstract paintings and avant-garde works that stood at the center of major currents in Korean contemporary art, as well as installations and other unique practices of mid-career, emerging, and international talents that are garnering appreciation worldwide. The variety intends to reconfirm the gallery’s mission to amplify the value of contemporary art and to envision its future, demonstrated through a history of more than five decades. It will provide a concise survey of the past, present, and future of Korean contemporary art, situated in juxtaposition to major figures in the global contemporary art. 

갤러리현대는 키아프 서울 2024에 참여한다. 갤러리현대 ‘부스 B03’에서는 한국 현대미술의 주요한 흐름을 이끈 추상회화, 실험 미술과 함께 독창적인 작품 세계로 국내외에서 활발히 활동 중인 중견 작가와 젊은 작가, 국제적으로 주목을 받고 있는 해외 작가의 설치 작업 등을 선보인다. 50여 년이 넘은 갤러리 역사와 현대미술에 대한 가치와 비전, 더불어 한국 현대미술의 주요한 과거와 현재, 미래 나아가 국제 미술계의 주요한 작가의 작품까지 한자리에서 살필 수 있도록 다채롭게 부스를 구성했다.
